"Ellie" is a classic baseball style fabric newsboy cap that's anything but boring! The The top is made with a high-quality putty gray wool fabric. The brim is an amazing oversize hounds tooth check ion beige and red. The band is a subtle black and beige abstract stripe. The underside of the brim is a black wool flecked with color. It's topped with two velvet flowers. The hat is fully lined with a pretty cotton fabric and an inner grosgrain ribbon helps the hat keep its shape and keep it free from makeup.

This baseball/newsboy shape is deeper than a traditional baseball hat and sits lower on the head - looks best with your ears tucked under. Wear the brim down in the traditional manner or flip it back for an additional look. A great hat for travel as well.

ABOUT THE MAKER:

I have been making hats since 2004. My hats have been showcased in the Kentucky Derby Museum in Louisville, Kentucky since 2010, when I received the Judges Choice Award. I am honored to have had a hat chosen for display at The Great Hat Exhibition in London in March, 2018. I have won Best of Show at the Greater Cleveland Gallery Fest and many gallery and show awards over the years.
