This pretty black, ivory and brown baseball style silk newsboy cap is the boss! The top is a black and ivory silk hounds-tooth fabric. The band is a mix of black wool and brown/black/ivory plaid flannel. The outer brim is the same hounds-tooth and The underside of the brim is the plaid flannel. It is all topped off with a black silk rosette and vintage button. The hat is fully lined with a pretty cotton fabric and an inner grosgrain ribbon helps the hat keep its shape and keep it free from makeup. This baseball/newsboy shape is deeper than a traditional baseball hat and sits lower on the head - looks best with your ears tucked under. Wear the brim down in the traditional manner or flip it back for an additional look. A great hat for travel as well.

I have been making hats since 2004. My hats have been showcased in the Kentucky Derby Museum in Louisville, Kentucky since 2010, when I received the Judges Choice Award. I am honored to have had a hat chosen for display at The Great Hat Exhibition in London in March, 2018. I have won Best of Show at the Greater Cleveland Gallery Fest and many gallery and show awards over the years.
